This season-long approach also sets Diablo 4

The Diablo 3 community is extremely vocal about what it doesn't like, and D2R Items has been throughout the lifespan of Diablo 3, so we're hopeful that Blizzard is taking these concerns into consideration for those lucky enough to play large portions of the game before its release. However, we'd bet Blizzard isn't too thrilled with the stream of leaked footage which appears to come following the private test.

A key element that is part of Diablo 3 that is confirmed to return are the short-lived Seasons. They are basically post-game pieces of content that alter the way legendary items work and also remix the gameplay of the base game making it a replayable game that's already extremely replayable. Seasons were available in significant amounts throughout Diablo 3, so we're hoping that they'll be prominent in Diablo 4.

This season-long approach also sets Diablo 4 up to be another compelling Game Pass game, should the merger eventually close. A game like Diablo with rock-solid gameplay is the perfect match to provide a service that allows players to pop back into real-time games within a few months. However considering that the game is due to release in June and the war for an upcoming future for Activision still well underway this is one game which is highly unlikely to receive it the Game Pass treatment on day one, unless something radically happens to it.

If we were to bet we'd wager that the aim to achieve with D2R items cheap.4 is, when the game finally launches, players in the community who were outraged, and rightly so, about Diablo Immortal take a moment to contemplate "oh sure, it's Diablo."
