Included in the Collector's edition will be a digital soundtrack

World of Warcraft will expand over the next few months with WoTLK Gold the release of Battle for Azeroth, which we know will launch in August. In addition to the previously scheduled Standard and Digital Deluxe editions, Blizzard has just revealed the specifics regarding the forthcoming Collector's edition that is set to launch with the game.

The cpiece of this physical copy is a hardcover double-sided novella. The book explains both Alliance both the Alliance and Horde perspectives leading to the Battle for Azeroth; you can read one of the stories by going through the book in one direction, and another by flipping it over and starting at the other end. The stories will also be released on the internet, but they'll only be available in printed form in the Collector's edition.

Included in the Collector's edition will be a digital soundtrack that includes music from the new expansion as well as a collectible currency. Additionally, it comes with the same digital benefits as it does in Digital Deluxe edition, which include a variety of Blizzard's games. It's notable is the equipment used in WoW: there's a mount (Seabraid Stallion for Alliance, Gilded ravasaur for Horde) as well as pets (the adorable Baby Tortollan). There's also an World of Warcraft card back, StarCraft II Horde and Alliance sprays as well as one of which is a Heroes of the Storm "Primal Flamesaber" mount, and other World of Warcraft items. The items include "Horde- or Alliance themed voice-overs for Torbjorn WoTLK Classic Gold and emotes of Tracer; Anduin, Jaina, Sylvanas, and Saurfang sprays; as well as Kul Tiran and Zandalari player icons."
