Hazzikostas admitted that Blizzard made WoTLK Gold too many concessions towards "rush" players through the start zones to ensure they could reach the later phases of WoW and then meet their buddies. This does a disservice to the overall experience and this is something Blizzard has addressed with Exile's Reach. Hazzikostas said that players who are new will now be able to keep up with their top-level players over only a couple of dozen hours instead just a few hundred minutes like in the past.
"So the way we're going about it is we're taking a giant step back, creating a new player experience that can be much more effective in educating you on about World of Warcraft , what it means to be a member of World of Warcraft ; what it means to be part of the Horde as well as being a member of the Alliance. What you need to know about your class," he said. "And following players through a better-paced narrative that makes sense regarding timeline and other aspects and is a reflection of modern World of Warcraft at its best . The goal is to get you what the main playerbase is in a few dozen hours, rather than just a few hundred hours."
Shadowlands are WoW's eight expansion, and it's expected to launch in the coming months. The expansion will also bring controller support, but Hazzikostas states that there's no chance of a WoW console port is not being planned.
Alongside Reach in Exile, Shadowlands also introduces five new zones. Reach, Shadowlands introduces five new zones, a WOW WoTLK Classic Gold new arena for dungeons, a new raid, and a brand-new Covenants, a new feature that opens an entirely new campaign with multiple missions as well as new abilities to unlock. For more information about Shadowlands, check out the video below. It is possible for players to try out Shadowlands for themselves this week, when the beta goes live.
