Shadowlands proved to be an utter disappointment

The year 2022 is fast approaching in the wake of the launch of the final update for WoTLK Gold and what can be described as an era of reckoning for Blizzard and the belief that players will never return may not be the case. In the midst of persistent issues of discrimination and harassment and two massively not-popular expansions in one row and more competition within games in the MMO arena than before, and the position held by WoW is now up for winning.

This is a fault that is Blizzard's own fault. Despite the impressive sales figures gamers quickly became dissatisfied with Shadowlands the expansion that took players to a completely new universe and also featured appearances from popular characters such as Uther, Garrosh Hellscream, and many more. In theory, the game could have been a huge hit.

However, Shadowlands proved to be an utter disappointment. Although WoW's gameplay is as fast and enjoyable like ever before, the game has immersed in systems that appear intent on removing the fun of the game. The buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold dungeon called Torghast turned into a long-running chore players had to finish each week. The story content was a hindrance to making weekly and daily lists for weeks. Players felt trapped by options such as Covenants and shackled by Conduit Energy systems and Conduit Energy, with pleas from the community to change falling in the wrong direction all the time. The changes to these systems eventually did come about however they were too late for them to be of any significance.
