How To Trade in Diablo 4
First, to find players to trade with, Diablo 4 has its own dedicated chat channel on Battle.net for trades. You can use these channels to find other people who want to trade or to easily browse trade offers.
Once you've found someone to trade in Diablo 4, follow these steps to complete the trade:
Invite people you want to trade with to your party. This allows two players to be in the same world state in Diablo 4.
Go to the transaction destination agreed upon by both parties. We suspect that the starting town of Kyovashad will become a center of trade.
Get close to the character you want to trade with, turn on the control wheel, and select "Invite to Trade".
The counterparty must now accept the trade request.
After accepting a trade request in Diablo 4, you can add items to the trade window.
Once both parties are happy with the items in their respective trade windows, they can click the "Lock Offer" button.
It seems easy enough to do. However, there are a few caveats, you cannot trade items that are currently equipped on your character, nor can you trade items directly from your Stash. If any changes occur in any of the trading windows, you will need to click the Lock Quote button again.
Diablo 4 Items and Currencies Trading Restrictions
While there is trading in Diablo 4, and the actual process is simple, there are some item and currency restrictions. Firstly, as far as currencies are concerned, only gold is tradable, all other currencies are locked to your Battle.net account or character.
