Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Wrath of the Lich King will return to World of Warcraft later this year, giving World of Warcraft fans another nostalgic treat.

WOTLK Classic release date
Death Knight players will start at level 55, while everyone else will level up to the new level 80 cap. However, when it comes to the actual release date, Blizzard simply says 2022.
This is most likely due to the fact that the next expansion has not been announced at the time of writing. However, it looks like this will be a fall or winter release. A new expansion is planned for late 2022 or early 2023.
