USS Miami To Be Decommed

The Navy notified Congress on Tuesday it plans to stop repairing the USS Miami and remove the submarine from the fleet.
In April, the Navy discovered additional cracking on board the submarine, which was severely damaged after a civilian worker set a fire inside the submarine at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, in May 2012.
