It's pretty profitable to cheap OSRS gold kill especially with falador shield 4. Or, you could use the terrorbird to ensure it initiates combat with the mole every time. What happens is the terrorbird will start to follow in the general directions of the mole, even when it has not dug the mole, giving you an concept of where it may be where it is.
Additionally the terrorbird will allow you to run for an unlimited amount of time (with those scrolls) which is an enormous helm. If you're in a range, go with the general ran configuration of Dragonhide with some Prayer or Defence bonuses mixed in (Helm from Nietiznot for instance). I would suggest diamond or ruby bolts (e) are best to utilize. If you're trying to melee whip/chaotic and claws/ddp. If you melee bring proselyte armor to keep the prayer pots and make use of the piety.
To melee, could guthans and a super set work? I was just at it with a range setup (rune plate, granite shied, otherwise it was a hide) and it wasn't hitting all that often, so i thought guthans, barrows gloves, and some super sets woul be very useful. I'd be able to make more money because i do not need diamonds or food as often?
If you are in a safe area (using the tiny gap next to the obelisk to ensure the obelisk won't be able to hit you until after it burrows) it won't require much food, if at all. Guthan's approach is probably not the most efficient.
I recommend you rs 3 gold use broads/emerald (e) setup. Begin in the middle with the Emerald (e) to poison, then change to broads for finishing the. Each kill is worth roughly 20k to 20k. I personally do two kills each run (using prot and eagle eyes at times) melee in some instances) and then go home port. recharge, pray at the altar use fally portal, bank and go back in time in time for the next one to happen.
