Home Helpers - 2701 Willow Street Pike, N. - Willow Street, PA - 17584

Please allow us to introduce our selves and our company to you.  We are Shawn and Kathy Spence, co-owners of Home Helpers, here in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.   We are providers of in-home non-medical care for anyone with disabilities or the simple need for some extra help with their activities of daily living.   Whether someone is coming home from the hospital or rehab or is already living at home and could use a little assistance, we want to help.

Following you will find information on the services that we offer; hopefully you will find the information to be useful for that “extra set of hands around the house”.  We are members of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, as well as being contract providers with the Lancaster County and the Lebanon County Offices of Aging.  Kathy is a CSA with the Society for Certified Senior Advisors and Shawn is a graduate of Colorado State University.  Please take a moment and visit our corporate website at www.HomeHelpers.CC -{as in Conscientious Caregivers}-.  Our professional staff is insured and bonded and undergoes a thorough background review.  All of our caregiver training and consumer care is supervised by registered nurses.  Please call us if there is anything else that we can provide to you to fully inform you about our services.

Home Helpers specializes in affordable, personal, non-medical assistance to help make every-day life easier.  We sincerely hope to be of help to a wide variety of those in need; from new moms/families, to those in recuperative care, to elders facing the challenges of daily life.  Our goal is to keep our clients happy and healthy in the comfort of their own homes.  We are available by the hour, for the day, or long-term, round-the-clock for as long as we’re needed.

Following are just a few of the specific services that we provide at a reasonable hourly rate:

 *Companionship                                              *Light Housekeeping Service

*Preparing Meals                                             *Shopping for groceries, etc.

*Transportation Services                                  *Laundry & Linen washing

*Grooming Assistance                                      *Medication Reminders

*and other activities that help ensure that the household runs smoothly

Also, our Direct Link personal emergency alert system is readily available and very simple to use.  Anyone who has seen the commercial “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” understands the concept of the Direct Link unit.  An attractive, wood-grain unit just a little larger than an answering machine sits mostly unnoticed in your home while you wear a small transmitter button, just like a necklace or a wrist-watch.  We program the unit with five of your personal contacts (family, friends, neighbors, etc.) and we come out to your home to set-up and install the unit and then personally demonstrate it’s simple operation to you and/or your family.

The monthly monitoring fee is about a dollar a day and the one-time-only installation and set-up fee covers our personal assistance in your individual set-up.  In addition, we’re able to offer pricing as follows; for each six months of monitoring that is prepaid, we’ll give the seventh month free of charge.  Our unit will send out a “low battery” signal and a “power outage” signal which will result in a notification to our local office.  We’ll be in the position to make a courtesy call to follow-up as to the circumstances and ensure that all is well.  All of this with no long-term contract in order to have Direct Link up and running for additional peace of mind.  This can be a very economical way of insuring that emergency help is never more than minutes away.

Home Helpers has been in operation across the country since 1997.  We sincerely believe that we can be of help here in our own neighborhood.  If there are further questions that we can answer for you, please feel free to call us at 717-464-9365.  Or contact us via email at Home.Helpers@comcast.net  .  See us on the web at www.HomeHelpers.cc  .

We’ll be happy to help in any way that we can.
