Today I just received confirmation that I will be heading the post of Veteran's Issues Examiner of Louisville, KY. This changes nothing in my mission here at PASP(1), but actually will build upon our momentum with our work here.
I will be reporting on veterans issues at
Examiner.com that hopefully will be picked up by the national news...yes I have the possibility of my article in the news, TV, newspaper, etc.
I will write what I see, hear and experience when meeting with local veterans, politicians, mental health practitioners and advocates. I have already many contacts and persons of interest that I will interview in the next three months. My continuing education of the American Public on the plight of the oncoming Tsunami of Combat PTSD has found a new vehicle to begin to build upon local services for returning combat veterans. I can use my personal experience, training and education to begin crafting a resolution of caring for our 'Mentally Wounded in War' in Louisville, Ky.
I will publish 150 articles in 150 days at
Examiner.com and this will build an instant (3 months, not really instant) database of my published works. From this I can build a readership fast along with gaining more credibility here in Louisville, KY.
