PTSD: A Caregiver's Perspective - I highly recommend that you check out her honest portrayal of the perfect wife from others perspective. She works harder than anyone could ever do... Full-time caregiver to my disabled OIF vet...suffers from severe combat PTSD and TBI. I am passionate about spreading the word on the struggles both spouses and veterans face when dealing with these complex "Invisible Wounds" of war. I was recently a guest on the PTSD panel at the 2010 GI Film Festival in Washington DC hosted by Bob Woodruff. Amongst the other panelists were Brigadier General Lauree Sutton (the US Army's top Psychiatrist), Glenn Close, and Gloria Gilbert-Stoga (Puppies Behind Bars founder). I hope to be able to make a presentation to the Olympia Chapter of the MOAA if it can be arranged in the not too distant future.

God, she said would try and help me get a PTSD Service Dog...I'm not even a modern warrior..."
PTSD: An Army Reservist's Wife's Perspective - her story may come off in a temper-tantrum kinda way...get to know her...she will amaze you at her strength and endurance...most people would crumble under the stress load she carries...walk a mile before you tell her to she has no clue of her husbands heroic service...I'm here to tell you that her service to this country battles on...check that out in WTF, would my ex-wife say?
Mistress says,
I am a 34 year old Army Reservist Wife who is fighting for more recognition for our soldiers suffering from PTSD. I feel not enough is done to help our military members and more so their families who are suffering more. Hopefully someone who is seeking comfort will find this blog and know they have a fellow military spouse who knows just what they are going through.
Why hast thou forsaken our soldiers who silently suffer?
