intr.v. ma·lin·gered,
ma·lin·ger·ing,
ma·lin·gers
To feign illness or other incapacity in order to avoid duty or work.
[From French malingre, sickly.]
My perspective of this comes from people of 'high' education still cannot see that my service-connected disabilities my actually get in the way of my life...hmm seems that can't be. So, to me malinger means something else totally than someone without PTSD. See, when I see someone looking around like they done something probably mean't something. To the warrior it is to ask death for a dance.
