PSVR 2 is poised to be a shot in the arm for gaming industry

Sony has big plans for its next generation FIFA 23 Coins of hardware for virtual reality in that it hopes for 2 million devices of the PSVR 2 headset ready by the end of March in 2019.

Mass production of the VR headset was reported to have begun at the end of September (via Bloomberg) and has so far not faced shortages in the supply chain. With the PS5 being demanded due to its low availability since it was launched in November of 2020, Sony also plans to increase the number of consoles on shelves in early 2023 According to sources from Bloomberg.

PSVR 2 is yet to receive a date beyond 2023. Sony is working to ensure that they have enough PS5 consoles to play games with the new headset. The hardware is only compatible on PS5 and will not be backwards compatible with PSVR games.

What we do know about the device is that it packs several impressive specs. Similar to that of the PS5 along with the DualSense controller Sony added haptic feedback, adaptable triggers, eye-tracking and inside-out tracking along with 3D-sound into this kit, which hasn't yet received an exact retail price.

"PSVR 2 is poised to be a shot in the arm for gaming industry," Tamoor Hussain wrote in GameSpot's PSVR 2 preview. "It remains to be seen whether PSVR 2 will generate a lot of curiosity, but at least, I'm sure that it'll bring us one step closer in achieving the full potential of this device."

PSVR 2 will be launching with the recently announced Star Wars: Tales from a Galaxy as well as Resident Evil Village cheap FUT 23 Coins. For more information, you can check out everything we have learned about PSVR 2.
