Diablo 4 devs have no plans to nerf the fun in Season 2 | MMOEXP

Unlike Season 1, Diablo 4 devs have no plans to nerf the fun in Season 2 | MMOEXP

Diablo 4 Season 2 has been met with a warm fan reception and Blizzard has no plans to Diablo 4 gold nerf the fun this time around.

Diablo 4’s second season, called Season of Blood, launched earlier this month and brought vampire-themed shenanigans to the game. But unlike the game’s first season, this new one seems to have gone down easier. “We’re glad players are having fun in DiabloIV Season of Blood,” designer Joe Shely writes on Twitter, adding that the team “have no plans to nerf it.”

The comments about nerfing fun are probably in reference to the game’s widely controversial first season, which even prompted community management director Adam Fletcher to admit: “We know it is bad, we know it is not fun.” The bumpy fallout from the first season was the result of nerfs that made several fun builds unviable, significantly increasing the already monotonous grind.

Diablo 4 is coming to Steam this month, and crossplay and cross-progression "will work immediately" | MMOEXP

Diablo 4 is coming to Steam on October 17, the same day Diablo 4 Season 2 launches.

Blizzard announced the Steam version of Diablo 4 during today's developer update. Both crossplay and cross-progression will be supported immediately, which means Diablo 4 players on Steam will be able to play with everyone on all other platforms - including PlayStation and Xbox - and continue their saves across all platforms.

It's worth noting that if you're picking up Diablo 4 for the first time on Steam, you'll still need to connect it to cheap Diablo 4 gold your Battle.net account to enable cross-platform play, same as all Blizzard games. Otherwise, you'll be able to play the previously Battle.net-exclusive action RPG just the same as any other Steam game, complete with Steam achievements and full friends list functionality.
