NBA 2K20 MyTeam's Major Auction House Issue Is NBA 2K21 MT Being Worked On
The Auction House is a major part of NBA 2K20 MyTeam, and several users are reporting issues that have been displaying up for months. On Friday, NBA 2K MyTeam developer Robby Haught aka Two Brothers Gaming informed the community that the team was aware of the issue and working to get it resolved. The acknowledgment was welcomed by members of this MyTeam community as the issue seemingly becomes more prevalent around major releases like the PRIME collection Galaxy Opal Lamar Odom card that fell on Friday.
I play MyTeam quite a little, and I only deal with the Auction House after a week (it's a part of my overall management of the highly addictive mode). Perhaps that's why I have been bitten by this issue that is technician. Essentially, what is being reported is that a random reset of thing prices that is resulting in valuable cards going unsold, or even worse, selling for much less than the present price. As you might expect, many users are mad about this glitch that is costing those impacted valuable in-game currency.
A few users posted screenshots of items underselling or not moving at all. At this time, there is no timetable for the fix, and the information that has been delivered from Haught was an unexpected plus. Haught is a programmer and that is not that traditionally communicates with users on these kinds of issues. That is usually where a community supervisor would work as a liaison between the dev group, engineers and NBA 2K's community. Unfortunately, 2K does not have a team of people who are designed to perform this very important function.
Many users will likely welcome someone who's assigned as a point of contact for consumers who play MyTeam, and the same goes for the other styles within the massive 2K universe. As of this moment, the openings in communication will probably remain.
Are we, or near the conclusion of the NBA 2K20 MyTeam articles catalog? The flow of new series has been nonstop through this release cycle, and has seemingly awakened during quarantine. We saw the release of a Galaxy Opal Lamar Odom, which left a significant splash. To a lesser degree, the Galaxy Opal Kevin Love that highlighted the buy 2K21 MT latest Buzzer Beaters set was an additional bulge. However, neither of those releases are the kind of cards that steer the total NBA 2K-related conversation toward MyTeam.
