Merry Christmas! I still say Christmas. Without apology or caveat.
I will spend Christmas Day with some Japanese friends at an Iraq-vet's home. Retired Marine Officer who fought in Anbar Province.
He was stationed in Japan, and so he happens to be inviting Japanese friends. As am I, also inviting Japanese!
So it will be a Japanese-America Christmas. (Real Japanese with accents, lol.) They love America and we love Japan, and so this will be a great Christmas Day. We all fight CCP but will not talk about our war on Christmas Day. I will be thinking about it, but not talking.
On the 26th, we are back in action.
I made the above photo from in front of the White House about a week ago. Searching this address you will see whence I clicked the shutter.
