I used to farm in this area when TBC was around but after WoW Tokens launched farming for gold was ineffective because the amount of time spent earning the amount of gold, and WOW TBC Gold then swiping it for it is radically different. It's 87K/hour but you can actually get 191K gold (NA) in exchange for a $20. The Retail gold is able to be exchanged for Classic for as long as it isn't against ToS.
It is assumed that the person is actually working for gold. It's possible that they're doing it to gain a token in order to continue playing for free. Yes, they're quick ways to earn money but do they matter?
WoW has 15 years of games and still has a decent community. It is worth your best shot, enjoy the effort put into the game and form your own choice. It's all about the adventure you experience for yourself, not necessarily what others think. I began playing legion and was shocked by the amount of content available. The game is crack It's only that in their insatiableness, Blizzard has kind of lost a wonderful thing.
What MMO games require is something that keeps players excited and cheap WOW TBC Classic Gold engaged in the "world" they're playing in yet again, not just making the numbers increase in order to get new equipment that eventually becomes obsolete or irrelevant so they can go and get new gear again that causes numbers to rise until it's ineffective to the point of infinity.
