I'm currently playing FF currently

I'm currently playing FF currently, but I'm not able to make an reason to WOW TBC Classic Gold avoid ESO. Both games are enjoyable each in their own way. Final Fantasy strikes me as much more of an interactive game and its story is in line with the main line Final Fantasy game. On the other hand I think ESO lets you be more immersed in the world. If you know your Nirn that you're a Nirn, then ESO can provide you with so numerous avenues to be part of it. The biggest issue for many is the combat aspect, FF feels much more like WoW. ESO is more like GW2 and the final rotations in ESO seem a little ridiculous, not from a length however, but from a gameplay perspective.

They're both gorgeous and have a wide range of applications. Personally, I'm in favor of the story of ESO. However, I've played more Elder Scrolls games that I have Final Fantasy, so I am more acquainted with the story and its references.

ESO does have a much smoother housing design than the FFXIV. You can tilt and float objects without exploiting bugs, if nothing else. All instances are created in an instance (but huge) and you won't have to compete with other players over plots.

It's certainly not classical rock however, don't panic. Perhaps the original definition of classic rock was "rock that was older than 20 years" however this was only 20 years ago. "Classic rock" has been defined as "rock from cheap Burning Crusade Classic Gold the 60s and 70s with a touch from the 1980s". Classic rock has a specific sound, the sound of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, etc. Metallica and Nirvana don't have that type of sound. However, they don't all of Metallica, I guess Load and Reload kind of contain a little of it.
