I concur that the HoA was a fantastic system

It's silly that so much development time gets spent on WOW TBC Gold growth specific substance. Island expeditions. Warfronts. Just like at what stage in development did they decide to give up on warfronts? Or when they figure out that warfronts weren't likely to function as planned. It was a significant characteristic of the bfa growth and imo was largely a dud of a characteristic. Same with islands. It might have been just so much better but only become a slog fest of azerite grinding. It's a huge waste of money to look for a system which only lasts an expansion.

I concur that the HoA was a fantastic system. It is so difficult for me though to get around the idea that blizz is aware of what they're doing when they employ a system. They put systems in half finished intentionally. Look at the legendaries in legion. Participants were saying, making articles on official forums, so that the system they had been implementing for legendaries was dreadful and was just going to upset the participant base. Silence. It was set in as is of course, people were angry. We had people in my guild who'd 3 legendaries at the onset of EN. Some had 2, most had 1, some had none. Even people who had at least didn't necessarily get what they wanted/needed. It took blizzard buffing the fall rates on legiondaries to make it feel better using"bad fortune protection". It took the entire growth to allow them to put out the machine as it ought to have been from the start. They understand but for the interest of MAUs they add in buffs and modifications to systems to get people to remain or come back.

Also enhancement: got broken at the onset of the expansionwith cheap WOW Classic TBC Gold a tried rework(Legion), were very great for one week due to a bug and bad equipment so nobody scaled nevertheless. Bug got fixed, and we had been in the garbage for another 3 raids, with continuous dangling of'we had no time this patch, we promise we fix it at the next one'. 9.3 came out and they said, needs to wait until growth.
