Do not give companies brownie points for doing the easiest thing. This is corporate slacktivism, all noise no actions. Donations, shouting out to resources people can use or donate to themselves, doing anything with Mut 21 coins any material more than saying"shouts out to oppressed minorities, we will wait to market to you till you have some attention to spare?" Or, best case situation, just imagining a delay without linking it into something entirely unrelated to them except for the impact on their reveal. It's not, till they want to pretend delaying their marketing plan is an act of solidarity. Solidarity simply means they agree with their origin, and there is nothing that indicate they do not. Yes, there's, the fact that they have done nothing to benefit anybody but themselves. They simply delay it without asserting that delaying an advertisement is somehow"in solidarity" with current protests. Don't be a fool that thinks there's any burden whatsoever to some corporate entity"carrying a side" by delaying marketing materials. It's a totally pointless, neutral thing and EA deserves no credit for it.
That's a great point, I hadn't considered it like this. I believe I agree with you this is overall a good thing even if it's also good for the business. I get you want to support the reason but what does that have to do with soccer? The Space Jam Facebook page introduced something similar. It brings attention to the issue and keeps it on the issue rather than allowing a distraction from it through their game. Beyond this Colin Kapernick kneeling for exactly the reasons the protests are occurring? And the entire response to it from in and outside the team when he had been performing that are directly related to both the issue and football. NFL players are protesting police brutality throughout games for many years now. Considering the game contains the likeness of lots of these characters it isn't surprising that EA might do this.
Since many people are treating game firms like they are their good, trustworthy friends. I don't think I have ever seen this phenomenon out of this gambling community. They don't see them just like any other corporations whose sole objective is only to get your money. If you changed the title from EA to CDPR, strangely enough the remarks here will be a lot different. They still release trailers for these? It is Madden, who doesn't understand what they are getting in this product? Same reason that Coca-Cola still spends a ton of money on advertising, even though everyone understands what Coca-Cola is. (And of course, it's well worth noting that there's a reason that everyone knows what Coca-Cola is...) That's the most corporate-ese Ralph Wiggum"I'm helping" bullshit I have ever seen. That is because there are far more important things happening and they won't get the clicks and views they have been relying on becoming because people's focus is elsewhere. Haha okay EA, I am sure this has nothing to do with the money that you want to create from the game and everything to do with encouraging the victims of injustice. There's a lootbox/looting joke in here somewhere.Unfortunately, the gaming community seems to be full of racist and sexist men and women. Reddit as well, but you wouldn't delete your accounts as some people are morons. Exactly the same way you wouldn't burn your passport because some people in your country are brain-dead. Reddit as well, but you would not delete your accounts because some people are morons. I came very close to cheap Madden 21 coins doing exactly that. I've essentially boxed myself into a very small corner of reddit I never depart. It's an issue that's only very widespread in terms of individuals playing them. The games sector itself is actually incredibly progressive. Super progressive? Perhaps you have forgotten that ?
