Now, Blizzard isn't discussing release dates

Now, Blizzard isn't discussing release dates, however they are talking about PSO2 Meseta the next time we will hear about Diablo 4, and also what communication will be like about the game moving forward. In a post, match director Luis Barriga expresses specifics those strategies, and gratitude for all the excitement at BlizzCon:

"We've been shooting this week to evaluate and discuss our takeaways from BlizzCon, and we love all the profound talks occurring around the art, attributes, systems, and world of Diablo IV. We're also excited about a cool upgrade we're likely for you in February of next year.

So, the plan is to have our first new advice in February, and then moving forward, we will be receiving"Rs" updates on development progress going ahead. That's more transparency than many studios provide, though there is kind of a reason that many places don't, as in the event that you show something ancient and it ends up changing, you've got mad fans when you reach final release. It's also not quite clear how many quarters of upgrades we will get, and we are still no closer to an actual release date being declared. Barriga said that the BlizzCon construct was a"first step" and the game was not coming"Blizzard soon."

Strangely, Diablo 4 was confirmed for current gen consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, that will no longer be present gen consoles this time a year ago when PS5 and Xbox Scarlett arrive. But I have a feeling this is about the game coming out soon (it's literally impossible for it to be out in the next year) and about the fact it will encourage both current and next gen releases. If I had to buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta guess about if Diablo 4 will really arrive, I would not say sooner than late 2021 or early 2022, given the condition of where we are right now. That would be 2-2.5 years away, which seems about right to me. That's...8-10 Rs news updates!
