We've been taking this week to assess and discuss our takeaways

"We've been taking this week to assess and discuss our takeaways from BlizzCon, and Diablo Gold we love all the profound talks happening around the artwork, features, systems, and also world of Diablo IV. We are also excited about a trendy update we're planning for you in February of following year. It'll be the first in a series of quarterly upgrades where we will share behind-the-scenes appearances at our progress going forward."

So, the plan is to have our first new info in February, and then moving forward, we'll be receiving"quarterly" updates on development progress going forward. That is more transparency than several studios provide, even though there is sort of a reason that many places don't, as in the event that you show something ancient and it ends up changing, you've got angry fans once you reach final release. It is also not quite clear how many quarters of updates we will get, and we're still no nearer to a real release date being announced. Barriga said that the BlizzCon construct was a"first measure" and that the game was not even coming"Blizzard shortly"

Strangely, Diablo 4 was confirmed for current gen consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, that will no longer be current gen consoles this time next year after PS5 and Xbox Scarlett arrive. But I have a feeling that this is about the game coming out soon (it is literally impossible for it to be out in the next year) and more about the fact it will support both current and next gen releases. If I had to guess about if Diablo 4 will really arrive, I wouldn't say earlier than late 2021 or ancient 2022, given the condition of where we are at this time. That would be 2-2.5 years away, which seems about right to me. That is...8-10 quarterly news updates!

I am mixed about what has been shown at BlizzCon, partially because I am unsure of some of the changes being forced to make everything exceptionally Diablo 2-ish, partly because I wonder how truly representative this is of buy Diablo 4 Gold the final product, as we have seen demos crafted only for series before. But we will see. 1000 hours of this game no matter what and I will play. If this will start, I just don't know, and does Blizzard, right today.
