The 2019 reveal of Overwatch 2, by way of example, appeared to Diablo 4 Gold surprise and confuse many, given the first game came out in the spring of 2016. Blizzard does make sequels this fast. It is a cool concept, but it also makes you wonder why there is different a sequel when the corporation could continue to update and change the present game. If you factor in the want to sell more games of Activision the whole thing begins to make sense, however.
Compared to expand to new platforms, and what better way to sell more games? Blizzard started as a PC-focused programmer, and it made a push into the universe of consoles over the last couple of years, but one place where the storied studio has hardly scratched the surface is cellular. Shortly, that may change -- and Diablo: Immortal, that was declared in 2018, could just be the tip of this iceberg.
"In relation to Blizzard's strategy to mobile gambling, a lot people over the past couple of years have shifted from playing mostly desktop to playing many hours on mobile, and we have a lot of buy Diablo Immortal Gold our best developers now working on brand new mobile titles across all our IPs," said studio co-founder Allen Adham throughout a BlizzCon 2018 media conference.
