Christian McCaffrey adds an explosive energy to the Panthers offense
The Panthers offense is now an entire lot more exciting as the team picked up Christian McCaffrey with the No. 8 overall selection of the 2017 Madden NFL 23 Draft.
The resume of McCaffrey's Stanford University is the best in the entire class of. At Stanford, he set the record for all-purpose yards during a season in 2015. racking up 2.019 rushing as well as 645 receptions, 1.070 kick returns, and 130 on punt returns.

Why did Carolina pick McCaffrey?
A lot of college students don't always mean a productive Madden NFL 23 player. But McCaffrey's top qualities translate well to a professional backfield and his innate versatility will be useful.
In the Madden NFL 23 Combine, through drills that assessed speed and agility, McCaffrey blew away the rest of the field not just the leading running backs in the group.
The time of his 40-yard sprint (4.48 seconds) was just a hair faster than the time of LSU's Leonard Fournette (4.51) and Florida State's Dalvin Cook (4.49). McCaffrey's 37.5-inch vertical jump and his remarkable 6.57 seconds during the three-cone exercise that marked him out.
What McCaffrey does best is locate cracks, get his feet into the ground and then sprint through the gaps until daylight. The marks he has made at the combine validate that burst and change of direction, as does his extensive highlight reel from Stanford:
This skill set will work well in any backfield, but it also made him a valuable option as a pass catcher or returner with the Cardinal. However, there are many players who were versatile players in college before they were restricted to a single position in the Madden NFL 23.
In 2013 Myles Jack was named an award for Pac-12 offensive Freshman of the Year and Pac-12 Defensive Freshman Of The Year awards. Before that, Eric Weddle did everything for Utah in the past, including playing 90 snaps in a 2006 game in which he scored just two touchdowns, and was in possession of the game's winning field goal.
"Could we be witnessing the best Version of Ty Montgomery with a higher ceiling? The versatility of a running back in between the tackles that has wide receiver speeds and buy madden coins cheap speed on the route can be a major advantage in every offense.
