I was reading through a journal I kept for years and I ran across this description on my youngest daughter prior to her Bi-polar diagnosis. It is poignant in hindsight.
"When I think of Madision, I envision a volcano in Hawaii (Kilauea). She is fiery and explosive yet beautiful and seemingly harmless at times. She bubbles and boils with frustration creating devastation in her path. How does one tame such a force? Is that possibe? Or do we merely steer her in the right direction and pray for the best like the lava flows from Kilauea. Always hoping that once she reaches the cool waters she will cool down. "
