Monday started off with a rush of "signings." The quotes are important, because Mut 23 coins we're in an official tampering time period in which contracts can be reached but not signed until Wednesday, at noon.
This is by far the dumbest aspect that's on the Madden NFL 23 calendar. No one can explain in detail why we're allowed to have this long period of time especially since everyone knows that teams are discussing deals with agents during the combine. **nudge, nudge, wink, wink** that's certainly not happening, isn't it?
We've also seen numerous deals signed and now I find it necessary to talk about The Jacksonville Jaguars. To be honest, I've been struggling to express my feelings about their week. On the one side there was the fact that the Jags had the highest budget in free agency and it was the perfect time to unwind the purse strings and get some players, but on the other they ran into Monday like a sailor on shore leave and squandered nearly $50 million of caps to sign or keep six players.
I really don't know what I think about this. It's been playing around in my mind for the majority of the afternoon. On the one hand I am awed by this group of players and I know they'll help make the Jaguars better, but on the other I'd love to see Jacksonville had spread the affection a bit further to improve their positions.

The biggest criticism is going the be Christian Kirk, I get that. The contract represents the biggest leap of trust in the possibility of him becoming a top No. 1 receiver, and partly the fact that a team that is as bad as Jacksonville has to spend more money to lure big-name free agents. The structure of the deal is very fair and doesn't harm the team over the long term should the gamble not pay off.
My issue is, like it was with Jaguars' free agencies of the past the issue is that they went for an emphasis on quality over quantity when this franchise really needs quantity. It's not Kirk but it's Kirk AND Scherff AND Fatukasi AND Olukun, which will leave the Jaguars with around $10M of space (give an amount). I'd really liked for the team to aim at two of these potential players and try to cheap madden 23 coins snap one or two players for the same cost as the rest.
