It didn't take us too long to realize we love the feel of this newly designed WOW WOTLK Classic Gold drum set. It all starts with the material used for the surface. Drum heads and cymbals are comfortable and quiet thanks to the thick silicone and rubber coating, yet there's plenty of bounce back. The cymbals may not offer as much as we first believed however, they don't seem stiff, either. Transferring between them is simple due to the large surface area of each head, which gives you a comfortable range of error. 

Additionally the pedal's feel is distinct from the Rock Band version. The pedal doesn't appear to require nearly as much pressure, considering that the default location of the pedal's surface is slightly further away from the base. This makes it much more straightforward to make quick double taps. However, without any way to secure it to its base we could see that it was sliding slightly greater than Rock Band pedal.

As you begin to play the drums and you are first beginning to learn the basics, having an additional input makes the drums appear somewhat daunting, however we were comfortable using the new screen within a matter of minutes. After we had mastered the art of basic drumming then we delved into more sophisticated methods. The activation of your Star Power is achieved with hitting the two cymbals the same time. 

This is an act that requires a lot of timing, as you must hit an additional cymbal in the exact moment that the game asks you to hit one, in order to avoid throwing yourself off the track by hitting two cymbals while the game tells that you stick to those drum heads. There are times where the game will prompt you to play some freestyle songs, just like Rock Band, but these are to have enjoyment than anything else, since they're not tied to the Star Power activation.

The only thing we observed regarding the drums was that the general difficulty of our limited sample of songs was just a couple of notches lower than the Rock Band's. It could be because the songs we played were from earlier into the game however there was a distinct difficulty difference; it's like both games are antagonistic in nature, with Rock Band features tough drums with a more easy guitar, while World of Warcraft has just the opposite. We're able to keep a final verdict about this until we're able the chance to try out more tracks.

Of course, it wasn't just drummers that we played for. We also tried our hand at playing the guitar. The most exciting new feature to the guitar is the touch strip which acts as a secondary set of buttons that can be placed on the neck. This isn't just for solos buy WOW WOTLK Classic Gold . You could play through the whole song with the touch strip if enjoy. Bassists can perform in the slapping funk fashion and guitarists may play with a tap technique.
