The 82nd Airborne Divison PAO sent this request out: We need your help, Operation Urgent Fury veterans! In honor of the upcoming 30th anniversary of the 82nd Airborne Division's participation in Operation Urgent Fury, we would like to hear from our veterans who were there. If you were a member of the Division during the deployment to the island of Grenada in 1983 send us your photos. Give us your name, rank when deployed, unit of assignment and duty position. Tell us what's happening in the photo and any lessons you may have learned. The photos and information will be given to today's Division leadership so they can learn the lessons from our past. We will also post some of the photos on Oct. 25 so all of our fans can enjoy them. Please send your pics to 82ndairbornedivisionpao@gmail.com. Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, Oct. 16.
