So TSO, over at This Ain't Hell, posts the finalists in the Stolen Valor Tourney - check out the winners losers. And he adds this bit of information (edit note: bold is mine for emphasis): ...my travel for the next month. Want to feel jealous? Sturgis for the motorcycle rally next week. (Will still run the finals next week.) Following week to Gitmo to cover the Khalid Sheikh Mohammed trial (hopefully). Then to the White House for the Ty Carter Medal of Honor Ceremony. Houston, TX for the American Legion convention with Gabe Malor of Ace of Spades, Nick from Ranger Up, and David Bellavia, my hero. Totally jealous as Nick and Bells are some of my favorite people on this planet, and I have wanted to meet Gabe and the guys at Ace for a long time (Morons!). Our own Tantor sent a note about KSM and it comes just in time to warn TSO to not try the KSM&Ms...Apparently, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the Al Qaeda terrorist who managed the Sep 11 atrocity, has occupied his time in jail making candy for his guards: NORAH O’DONNELL: They said we didn’t want to allow him to go nuts so they allowed him to make this vacuum cleaner. What is this about making candy? What are they calling them? JOHN MILLER: During a briefing that I attended once in the intelligence community, a colleague of mine described, during the time he was with KSM, that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed had developed his own candy while in custody. He would cull together different things from his meals. Bread crumbs from the bread and little chocolate from the dessert, and he had made what he called KSM&Ms. He offered these hand-made, custom-made candies to his captors and said, ‘This is for you.’ And I asked, ‘So how were they?’ He said, ‘Actually, none of us ate them because we were a little worried about the origins of the creamy filling which he called KSM Flavoring.’ TSO! Don't enjoy the KSM&Ms!!! More at the Free Beacon: http://freebeacon.com/ksm-terrorist-vacuum-designer-and-candyman/
