A hyena won't change its spots and Brennan showed that he is only at CIA to make sure Barry O doesn't take any collateral damage, operations be damned. CIA director John Brennan apparently has decided to postpone and reverse the appointment of the first woman to head the CIA directorate of operations (which controls all covert operations and spying). According to press reports, Brennan has prevented the woman, whose identity is classified, from assuming the post because of her involvement with the interrogation and detention decisions after 9/11. According to the Post, she is already the acting head of the directorate and the most qualified person for the job, but Brennan has appointed an outside panel of former CIA officers to review her and other candidates for the job — something that the CIA has never done before. Not only were the decisions she is now being punished for correct, they were authorized, necessary and effective. But since they were done by the evil Bush regime, she must be cast out as a pariah. I guess if they had decided to simply slaughter the prisoners without any attempt to gain any actionable intel, like maybe vaporizing them with a rain of Hellfire, she would be qualified to lead from behind. Let's see we have F John Kerry running State, Chuck Hagel running Defense and Brennan running CIA, if that doesn't make you want to cry, you are not paying attention. We have North Korea going crazy(er), the Iranians about to unveil their new toys and we have a clown cars of fools to counter them. God help us.
