Oh my! Putting most of this below the fold so as to keep the focus on Murph and news, but below is information on sponsorships, advertising, and my Kickstarter project. If you are interested in advertising, sponsorship, or more, read on! Operation Normandy: Blackfive author C. Blake Powers (Laughing Wolf ) has the opportunity to attend the 2013 Normandy landing commemoration ceremonies. This will include posts and videos, and discussions are underway for what may be an unprecidented access to events and individuals. His work will build on his extensive feature writing experience as well as on previous visits to Normandy and with veterans. More information on Blake can be found here and links to previous work can be found at that site as well. There are four levels of sponsorship available: Estate Reserve, Prime, Choice, and Select. Estate Reserve $5,000.00 Limited to a single company or organization, this level is (essentially) the sole sponsor for a year, with no other sponsors being sought or accepted. They will have logo and link on all posts, and in addition to a standard credit on videos, there is the option to have all videos feature a logo and “XXX presents” at the start. In addition, this sponsor will receive promotion in new and social media, as well as other considerations as possible. Prime $3,500 Limited to no more than three companies or organizations. Prime sponsors will get up to 8 seconds of logo/name at the end of all videos, lead position in credits on stories posted to Blackfive (position to be determined by when they become sponsors), and push in new and social media before the event. In the event there are two or more prime sponsors, no Choice or new Select sponsors will be accepted after that date. Choice $2,500 Limited to no more than 4 companies or organizations. Choice sponsors will have position in credits following Prime but ahead of select in both written posts and videos, and video credits will be of shorter duration than Prime. There will be promotion in new and social media as well. Select $1,000 Limited to no more than 6 companies or organizations. Select sponsors will receive credits after all other sponsors in posts and videos, and the credits will be shorter than those given to either Prime or Choice sponsors. They will receive more limited promotion in new and social media. NOTE Currently, there are two select sponsors for 2013 that will receive text credit on all videos and posts related to Normandy.
