On the 7th, I posted some prizes for those donating to my embed. I'm happy to report that one of the autographed movie posters was snatched up almost immediately by Fred Hoeffken of Finish First Tactical. Finish First Tactical is a subsidiary of Ae Germane, a company that makes precision parts for everyone/everything from NASCAR race cars to the military. They have started Finish First Tactical to handle the increased need for mission configurable firearm accessories for the military, competitive shooters, and others. You may see more about them around here, as they may become an advertiser here. Meantime, there is still a poster left and more. #1/100 909, Blue Skies Forever Several years back, I did a series of 11x14 signed numbered prints, and gave #1 of each to my parents. Since they are gone, I am offering them as follows: The first person donating $1,000 or more will get the #1 print of Blue Skies Forever, seen above. This B-17 was touring the country as part of a living aviation history project of the Collings Foundation. Promise The first person donating $750 will get the #1 print of Promise. Years ago, some friends took me to an out of the way spot in Montana and told me the tale of the town of Gallatin. This town was at the headwaters of a river, got all the river traffic and was effectively the gateway to the West. However, the town got into a range war with another town that got this newfangled thing called the rail road. My friends lived in that town, Bozeman, and this was most of what was left of the formerly mighty town of Gallatin. The storm had just blown through, and gave some incredible lighting and color. The first person donating $500 will receive #1 of Golden Fire. Again, storms provided both amazing color and dramatic background for the shot. The first two people to donate $250 will receive an autographed move poster from Brothers At War. You can see where two of the brothers have signed in the photo, and I will note that the signatures are in different places on each of the two posters. Any takers? Frames are not included, but if you really want them, let me know. At the link, look to the right (near top of far right column) for "The Bard's Jar" and click it to make the donation.
