Help Welcome Home a Soldier

First, go and read this story about a soldier who came home without any fanfare, family or friends to welcome him home. Be sure to read what he did to earn two Bronze Stars (one for Valor). First Lt. Cory French didn't know what to expect when he stepped off a plane in Lincoln late Thursday night. After a year in Afghanistan with the 630th Military Police Company, the Malcolm native was ready to see his family. But when he looked around the airport, there were no friends waving American flags or giant posters recognizing the Army officer. There wasn't even someone waiting to give him a ride home... There is an effort underway to send him welcome home letters and to post messages online. Here is the information: Send welcome home notes to: 1 LT. Cory French 8425 NW 84th St Malcolm, NE 68402-9762 Or, thanks to Shelle Michaels, you can go to a dedicated Facebook page and post a welcome home message: https://www.facebook.com/1stLtCoryFrench Thanks! ~BlackFive Out!
