Jeffrey Schogol, the rumor doctor at the Stars & Stripes, has a post up about the end of bayonett training for the US Army. FWIW, I qualified expert with the bayonett every time because it was about attitude more than skill. It takes a certain mindset to desire to make the green grass grow...
