I hope that most of you know Gina Elise of Pin-Ups for Vets. What some of you may not know is that she is due some congratulations as a result of a recent trip to Chicago. You see, Gina was invited to be an audience member at the Oprah show, and the reason was that Oprah wanted to present her and some others with some goodies for all the good things they have been doing. In Gina's case, this means a new car will be coming her way next year, and she got some other neat goodies. Go check out her news page, or scroll down on her Facebook Page for more information. A little birdie has also told me she is looking for a graphic designer to talk to, so if you are one or know a good one, go to her site and drop her a line. Finally, be sure to help her, Mad Mike Williamson, and Cooking with the Troops out with a donation to Operation FPH Blues! We got off to a good start, but are stalled and need to get unstalled. We can save a lot of money if we can buy our tickets in the next couple of weeks, so please help. Help us make a dream come true, and get Gina to Landstuhl in January. Finally, some bonus Gina to motivate. Go congratulate her, and help her do even more for vets young and old. LW PS: Another little birdie told me that she didn't just go to the taping, but used the trip to go visit a new (for her) VA hospital to spread some cheer. She never misses an opportunity to do for those who serve (past or present)...
