Maj. Gen. Tony Cucolo, commanding general of 3rd Infantry Division and Task Force Marne, attended a memorial ceremony at Camp Zaytun in Erbil, Iraq to honor the memories of two Peshmerga soldiers. The general presented their families with the Army Commendation Medal for Valor for the soldiers losing their lives in the process of preventing the destruction of a combined checkpoint by a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (SVBIED).
