There is an advance screening of the award-winning documentary Restrepo scheduled for Chicago on the 27th of June at 7 pm. we have been authorized to invite any Chicago area readers who want to attend. You are invited to a special sneak preview screening of National Geographic Entertainment's war documentary Restrepo. An Outpost Film by Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger, Restrepo chronicles a year-long deployement of the 2/503 Battle Company, of the 173rd ABN. It won the Grand Jury prize at Sundance and the Best Documentary at The Little Rock Film Festival. Details of the screening are on the attached Evite. Author and Filmmaker Sebastian Junger will be there to answer questions after the screening. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I read Junger's book "War" on the plane ride to Denver yesterday and it was brilliant. I will have a full review of it shortly, but I highly recommend it. If you want to see the film RSVP to rsvp.chicago.restrepo@gmail.com with your name and phone number as well as any guests. Seats are limited so don't hesitate. Also if you notice on the poster there is a really cool logo bottom right. BLACKFIVE Rules!
