The drinking lamp is lit

Another gorgeous day here in ObamaTown. I spent a good bit of it walking around barefoot in the backyard talking bidness on my bat phone. The Wolf hooked me up with an amazing set of Bose headphones that work as a phone headset. Awesome. Then I decided to go scooter shopping, yeah you heard right. I went to the used scooter shop in my neighborhood and when I found myself actually considering buying one, I called my sister for an intervention. She actually used to sell them in her shop called Baaa-d Motor Scooters (great name eh?). So I told her to talk me out of it, and instead she slipped back into sales mode and was telling me that a scooter was actually ideal for my commuting needs. WTF? Then I made her tell me they were too expensive and my inner cheap *** prevailed. I figgered if I got one I could totally trick it out with mirrors and stuff and be like Sting in Quadrophenia. Thank God that moment passed. I was sporting my Obamao t-shirt and collected two "Where can I get ones" along with the dozens of outraged stares. Then I meandered into the Sports Authority to look at bikes, I mean a mountain bike isn't pussified. Well I get back to the bike section and the clerk there is a young brother who did a magnificent job of pretending I was invisible....racist. I actually do feel a little bad for the black people who see the shirt and assume the worst. Heck I don't dislike the Obama personally or because of his skin tone, it's because we now have two state-owned car companies, government health care, and state banks and insurance companies along with a commissar who tells them how much they can make. Ahhh it's just a temporary thing, but I am sure looking forward to the April 15th Protestapalooza here on the Mall. Bliss. But now it is time to let all those earthly cares drift away on a luscious amber carpet of 103 proof Fighting *** Bourbon. Distilled in Bardstown, KY where I have been to visit when I lived in Louisville. Cheers, Skol, Prosit, Nazdarovya, L'Chaim etc. all.
