NO! How's that for a direct answer. I'm sure Catherine Ross was a fine Civil Affairs soldier and I honor her service, but she doesn't have a clue about the pointy end of the sword. I have written in favor of repealing DADT and allowing gays to serve openly, but putting women in combat units is a fundamentally bad idea. Ironically for many of the reasons against repealing DADT.
