Hardly a day to celebrate, but one to feel solidarity with the brave Iranian opposition. The regime has deployed more than 100,000 thugs to try and keep the will of the people from being seen. I am awaiting reports of what has happened, but they will be sparse as the internet and cell phone coverage have been basically wiped out bu the government and it's Chinese helpers. Foundation for the Defense of Democracies Mark Dubovitz has a piece in Foreign Policy explaining how we can still keep pressure on the regime and what has worked so far. The only real hope we have for stopping the 12th Imam Bomb is regime change and anything we do to weaken them makes it more likely.
