My humanitarian efforts in Vegas

It's a well known fact that I am a tremendous humanitarian and spend most pf my waking hours trying to figure out how to make the world a better place. I am in Vegas for a few days in service of one of our noble causes. The Warrior Legacy Foundation is working on a set of promotional campaign to raise awareness about programs that help returning veterans transition to civilian life, such as our own Maine Wounded Heroes program and many others. The campaign grew out of a song written by country artist Derek Sholl called "When they come back" and the video for it features our good friend Jeremiah Workman. The campaign features many celebrities wearing combat boots and the tagline "When they come back...We give back". Many folks have already done so including Gov. Rick Perry (TX), Gretchen Wilson, Joe Nichols and we have a bunch more coming up. That leads to my little excursion to Vegas. Tomorrow the Miss America contestants show up to start doing their pageant prep and they are going to take time to step into 53 pairs of combat boots provided by our partner Rocky. I have volunteered to take one for the team and supervise the photo shoot. I know, I know what a guy I am. I concur. I will also be taking in the SHOT show to check out all the newest gun toys around. The sacrifices I make, let me tell you.
