Say what, you say, Uncle J praising a print product? Well obviously there is an angle here and that angle is me. I linked to the Op-Ed I had in the Washington Times yesterday about the Blackwater guards and being the online only kinda guy I am, I didn't even bother grabbing a print copy. I mean I have an amazingly small carbon footprint and that means a lot to me. Now the Washington Times just made some major changes and let go a bunch of their print staff. They are refocusing on their core mission of being a counterweight to the liberal Wash Post and becoming a more powerful online media operation. Their redesigned print product features an A section with news and a B section called Commentary with that and opinion and editorial pieces. My Blackwater piece ran there, but it didn't just run there it was 3/4 of the front page with a bunch of cool graphics. Holy Dominance Batman. How do you think the 4 star Admiral whose piece got the bottom 1/4 was feeling. My apologies sir. Well here is what the page looked like, I was blown away.
