Who to trust: Navy SEALs or al Qaeda detainee?

Kay Day has a great story at The US Report on the fate of three Navy SEALs who face a courts-martial for allegedly abusing Ahmed Hashim Abed, the suspected al Qaeda mastermind of the 2004 attack that killed four Blackwater contractors in Fallujah, Iraq. The SEALs refused an Article 15 non-judicial punishment and opted for the trial, which suggests to any critical-thinking individual that they would rather prove their innocence in court than be thrown under the bus by a military that seems more intent on placating our enemies than defeating them. Poor Abed either suffered from a fat lip or a tummy ache, and our military seems only too eager to destroy the careers of three of our finest warriors in order to appease our enemies. Unacceptable.
