Well lo and behold we have finally acquired ourselves a token Zoomie. Welcome aboard Crush, and let me compliment you on the moniker. An AF guy called Crush, that reminds me of what I said to Juicebox Mafia member Spencer Ackerman who blogs as Attackerman "Kinda like putting a spiked collar on a toy poodle". This is a good week for the sister services as the mighty Instapinch one of our squids, the flying variety, piped up to reminisce about the good old days of "Officer and a Gentleman"-hood. The pic there shows the Marines they import to do the actual paddling of bottoms with cricket bats and lead the chorus of "Thank you sir, may I have another". They ran into issues when they used their own Navy cadre, they enjoyed themselves in Don't askable ways. But wait I was slagging on the Air Force and our FNG wasn't I? Now don't get me wrong, I love both of our sister services. I mean you want a choice in your taxi driver and delivery guys, you know overnight air or the slow boat, a plane ride to the war or a cruise ship. And the Squids even have my favorite collection of bullet sponges, the United States Naval Infantry. Eat the apple...... All right now back to the Farce, they have had some difficulties recently due to budget cuts and I can certainly empathize, but you go to war w/ the Farce you have not the Farce they remember from the glory days. No seriously,we needed a Zoomie around here so we had a full pecking order. I mean the last time we had any serious interaction with an AF type was at the first Milblog Conference when then LT John "Lumpy" Noonan piped up to inform Matt and I that we should pack a bag for the pub crawl as he was going to drink us under the table. Matt curled over giggling and I informed the young fella that as soon as he showed he could piss in the tall grass, he could come up on the porch with the big dogs. As usual I was proved out, although I think the highlight of the pub crawl was me and Chuck Z trying to convince the bouncer at the *** bar that we were actually "*** lovers" not just lovers of lesbians. But all BS aside, now that we have the full array of services represented, I will gladly stand back to back at the strip club with any of you magnificent bastards. Semper Gumbus.
