Hey B5 folks, what are you all up to? Grim and I are really enjoying the Foreign Policy Journalism Fellowship. Great session on Iranian nukes yesterday which we will both write about over the weekend. Right now Qubad Talabani is speaking, he is the son of Jalal Talabani, President of Iraq, and leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. Interesting for sure. There is a rally in NYC this Saturday at 12 noon to protest the decision to hold KSM's trial there and to treat terrorism as a law enforcement issue. Among a group of very distinguished speakers including Andy McCarthy from National Review and Deb Burlingame, I will be speaking about how ridiculous it is to have our special operators in the field acting as CSI or Federal Marshals. Hope to see anyone who can get there.
