Bonjour mon amis. I made it to Paris, and am back from a trip down to Normandy. I don't have internet right now, but managed to steal a bit of time just to touch base, and promise some photos and more to come. Things are on track for the cooking for the wounded this weekend, and if I can I may do a bit of shopping today with that in mind. So far, have stayed out of trouble (mostly, got tossed off a local pedestrian bridge by a policeman who apparently didn't like my looks) and avoided too many public French military jokes. Am enjoying the first real vacation I've had in almost ten years, walking quite a bit, and deciding after Mont St. Michael and one particular stair yesterday that I will not complain (too much) about the stairs at work again. More soon, and think you will like some of the photos. Food and travel will be at my blog, the rest here, once I get some access I don't have to steal. ooops, dude at cafe who's computer I'm using is coming back... LW
