What does it take to actually get into trouble for revealing secret programs run by the CIA? Is there any price to be paid for exposing secrets? Apparently not. James Risen of the NY Times has made a cottage industry out of it, which previously got him a guest role in one of my WH Press Secretary stints. He is at it again telling the world the particulars of our secret (there's that word again) bases from which the CIA launches Predators. Now let's remember that these UAVs are the single greatest dead tango making tool we have, and they have been instrumental in wreaking havoc on al Qaeda and Taliban senior leadership. So obviously Risen and his fellow jackals at the NYT must expose this and hopefully get the program shut down. WASHINGTON — From a secret division at its North Carolina headquarters, the company formerly known as Blackwater has assumed a role in Washington’s most important counterterrorism program: the use of remotely piloted drones to kill Al Qaeda’s leaders, according to government officials and current and former employees. The division’s operations are carried out at hidden bases in Pakistan and Afghanistan, where the company’s contractors assemble and load Hellfire missiles and 500-pound laser-guided bombs on remotely piloted Predator aircraft, work previously performed by employees of the Central Intelligence Agency. They also provide security at the covert bases, the officials said. Oh well since Blackwater is involved they get a double whammy, I assume if I keep reading we will find out that all of this was orchestrated by Darth Cheney. Well no, what we get are the locations of the damn bases. Seriously, is there no law against outing CIA secrets? FFS the left and the media lost their ever-lovin' minds when a washed up CIA operative's name came out, but the publishing of secrets about active programs that are killing terrorists and disrupting our enemies operations........Meh. Business as usual, maybe a Pulitzer in it somewhere. Then we have lawyers for the scum at Gitmo and their enablers on the anti-American left taking pictures of CIA operatives and showing them to the freakin' jihadis. Good lord are you kidding me? Then the anti folk start justifying their treason. He added: "The lawyers have a duty to find out what happened to their clients, and to the extent that the government and certain agencies are resistant to that to protect themselves and to insulate themselves from accountability, there is a tension there, and to the extent that this investigation is part of that tension, it's most unfortunate. But the lawyers will not shirk their duty." It's not tension you jackass, it's treason. What do you have to do to get thrown in one of those dank holes the left was all worried about the Patriot Act creating? Where are the damn black helicopters when you need 'em?
