Cooking for the Wounded at LRMC: Update

First, thank you very much to all who have contributed to the cooking challenge! Things are moving along. I've approached a well-known company about some gear, and am awaiting word on my request/proposal; approached another well-known company (cookware manufacturer) and not heard a word back; and, approached the local outlet of a well-known chain and am talking with them about some other gear. We'll see. I've also approached the local media in my area, and again we'll see. If worse comes to worse, I will do spaghetti and/or chili and some sides. If things go really well, it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if I could do more than just one meal. What happens, happens, and I am going to do all I can to make it good and tasty. My goal is to provide some good and tasty food; leave both some good and tasty food and the makings for as much more as possible for them (and volunteers) to use; and, leave it well stocked in terms of gear. None of it will last, but that's the point. I want the food eaten, and if the gear is damaged or lost, well, it's worth it. You can help with this by spreading the word, and encouraging donations to Soldiers' Angels and saying it is for "Cooking with Laughing Wolf" Thanks! LW
