Work on the new Network of Care for Veterans

This week is an exceiting week for the Network of Care Veterans site.  i will be presenting the site to the National Association of State VA Secretaries Association in Washington.   On this visit we also will be presenting the site to Congressman Patrick Kennedy ( a long time supporter of this project), the Chief staff person to the House Committee on Veteran's Affairs, key people in the new VA administration, senior staffers for Military One Source and others.

We also just got word that the Lt. Governor of Maryland, himself an Iraq war veteran, will be leading the press conference when we launch the Vets site state wide in Maryland in the next 6 weeks.   Lots of great things happening!

Bruce:

Well Done!

I haven't heard or seen any publicity about the launch in MD next week (31st I think).  Will it be open to the public??

We just did our usability testing at Walter Reed yesterday.  the participants liked it, but our staff LOVES it--will be a great tool for our providers looking for resources for our patients.

I am finishing my work at Walter Reed on 3 April and starting work at the VA's new Vet Center in Annapolis on 13 April.

Keep in touch!

Bruce-The launch was awesome.  I will be doing a follow up demo to the Anne Arundel Veterans Commission and we will be doing a county launch at the Judicial Training Center in Annapolis on May 18.  People may call to register at 410 222-7858.  Frank Sullivan

Does this site have an event calendar?
