This manifestation of the Burning Stoopid is how from the Left, over Iraq, I was told the soldiers should revolt, refuse to deploy, etc. Now, I get that noise mostly from the Right, over Syria. Both sides suffer from The Burning Stoopid. You.Do.Not.Want.The.Soldiery.To.Pick.And.Choose.What.Orders.They.Will.Follow, outside the relatively narrow parameters already set and trained. Oh, and both sides will cheerfully stand us up against the wall if we choose to refuse...
